Glad to be back with anew blog post. The last couple of months, I had less time to write. I also invest some money in my house so less mortgage loan the coming years. Because of that, my portfolio value and forward income is less then last year.
I also stopped using margin. It makes me nervous when markets go down. As a DGI, you should be happy when markets going down. You are able to buy more stocks for the same price. When using margin/leverage, the effect of a crash is much bigger. Lesson learned: margin is not good for me. I will reach my goal without margin/leverage so that’s why I stopped using it!
A smaller part in dividend growth stock is not a big problem because I have many years to invest before retiring. My montly payments to the house will be smaller so I have more to invest.
I will try to update my blog ones a month to make the progress of investing more clear.

I’m using a cheap broker in The Netherlands (DeGiro), it’s just .50 cent for an order. I have a couple of non-DGR stocks in my portfolio like Alphabet (google) and Celgene. The plan is to sell these stocks after retirement and change them for DGR stocks. Assuming that there are much more worth then now.
